Description

PEX GUY Stainless Steel Radiant Heating Manifold These PEX GUY Stainless Steel Manifolds are produced with high quality stainless steel. It comes with PEX Compression adapters. This manifold can be used in radiant heating systems to distribute water or glycol to heat floors. This PEX GUY Stainless Steel manifold is our most popular manifold for radiant heating applications and now comes with upgraded flow meters to improve the functionality and readability of flow. The new two o-ring design allows for a more stable sealing performance. The flow meter cap has also been revamped to improve user experience and also redesigned for simpler assembly and disassembly. The see-through housing with marked flow rates on the flow meter has been upgraded to a thicker material, making it more durable. All these upgrades allow for higher accuracy with the flow meter reading. Includes: Manifold balance section Body with flow meters Manifold isolation section Body with Valves Automatic purge valves Manifold Isolation ball valves with 1″ NPT Pipe Connection Stem thermometer on each Manifold Isolation ball Valve 1/2" PEX Compression Adapters Mounting brackets The Perfect Solution for Radiant Heating One manifold for all your heating needs! This complete radiant heating manifold systems come with many features such as: inlet/outlet temperature gauges, automatic air purge valves, wall mounting brackets, gate valves for optimum flow control, and see-through flow meters. Features Inlet Temperature Gauges The temperature gauges on the inlet / outlet ball valves allow for you to know the incoming and returning temperature. 1/2" PEX Connectors All manifold sets come with 1/2" PEX Compression Connectors to seamlessly connect your 1/2" PEX piping to the manifold without the need of any specialty crimping tool. All you need is a wrench to hook up your lines. Air Purge & Fill Valve Every manifold comes with a Air Purge Valve to make it a breeze to purge the air out of your system prior to use. Keeping air out of your closed-loop radiant heating system is essential to keep optimum performance. Adjustable Flow Meters Adjustable Flow Meters allow you to see how much flow by the gallon or by the liter (GPM or LPM) is going through each loop. This will make balancing your system much easier. The Flow Meters can also be used to make fine tuning adjustments. Flow controls work well, ball valves are high quality and overall assembly that has numerous unions to align for your application makes install much easier. The air bleeds work well for the manifold itself, you will still need a system vent. Connections with pex tubing was straightforward, note the use of orings for sealing makes deburring the pex ID extremely important but anyone with common sense would know that. The only leaks encountered were my fault for not tightening completely, only hand tight for alignment sake but forgot to apply wrenches! Price was very fair at $190, competition was 2 to 3 Xs as much. 2 garden hose fittings make filling and purging air a nice, dry event. Highly recommended! ( photo attached was midway thru install.)
