The RV dealer wanted hundreds of dollars more for the exact replacement. As far as I could tell, the only difference between the original motor and this one was the connection at the end. I took a chance and ordered this one. I cut off the old end and soldered and taped the end onto the wires from this motor. It took all of 5 minutes. It is now in its second season and is working just fine!This was a perfect replacement motor. OEM mfgr, mid-range price. A few simple bolts made install easy. Two wire terminals fit existing wiring, though colors were different than original. Solved the problem.Bought this to replace non-functioning awning motor on my 2016 Crossroads Cruiser 5th wheel. The original part number of the one I removed was 373566. With the exception of having to add the polarized connector it was physically a complete match. Both were 12VDC, 75 RPM. The original had a P/N 591-70B on the side as well as the Lippert 373566 number. The 266148 has a P/N 591-70 without the B. Also a newer production date. Not sure the difference other than it was more than 1/2 the cost than the direct replacement from the RV dealer. I greased the exposed gears, bolted it on, plugged it in and Bob's your uncle, awning is working again. Hoping to get the original replaced on warranty, but seeing that it died in less than a year, it can't hurt to have an extra on hand. Awnings are useless without the motor. Disclaimer: I am a consumer, this is my experience and opinion. Using a different part number could void any warranties, so proceed at your own risk.The second motor that we received arrived in serviceable condition and was packaged well, unlike the first one that we had to return. The motor went on without issue. Two people for the removal and installation made it pretty simple and straight forward. The connectors were plug and play. Make sure you pay attention to what wires go where before you unplug the old one.This is quiet and worked for our 2016 Crossroads Rezerve when the manufacturer motor went out.easy to installIt was very easy to install! After 1 1/2 months I find the speed for opening and closing slowed down significantly.My awning already took a long time to open and close and now I find it almost unbearable. The only thing bearable with it is this one works while the other one doesn’t. For the price I would have thought it would have stood the test of time better. At least a few seasons.Great price for a good replacement. Keep in mind it is a bit slower than original due to lower rpm. Otherwise quite happy all around with it.Shipping was Very fast and item was easy to install. The hardest part was removing the cover. Look online for instalation video. There is a trick to it using a vice grips to prevent the awnig spring from uncoilingI was aware the electrical connections were a bit different than what was on my RV but it was easy to change.
