This THHN 12 gauge building wire is primarily used in conduit and cable trays for services, feeders and branch circuits in commercial or industrial applications. It is designed for use in dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90 degree Celsius or wet locations at 75 degree Celsius. It is stranded uncoated copper wire insulated with flame retardant PVC compound. Can be used for residential and industrial lighting and power. Meets or exceeds all applicable ASTM specifications. Features conduits and raceways installed underground. This wire is sunlight resistant as well as oil and gasoline resistant as defined by underwriters laboratories. Available in green color. Measures 500-feet in length.

I used this wire to construct a balanced terminated folded dipole 196' long. Being a folded dipole it used double the normal bit of wire (almost 400')! Strung the antenna up for field day. Had a guy on each end pulling on the ropes to tighten it up. Held up well. Green also helped it blend in better with surrounding landscape. Bought a second reel for another project.
